ディスポーザブルCTケージ（CT-M）
ＣＴケージは、特殊非結晶性ポリエステルシートを成型したケージです。 従来の実験用マウスの育成に伴う煩雑な洗浄作業及び滅菌作業を研究者の手から完全に解放した滅菌済みディスポーザブルマウスケージです。これにより、微生物的に清浄な環境の中で動物実験を行うことが従来より容易になるばかりでなく、発癌物質、アイソトープを用いる動物実験、あるいは、感染実験などに伴う汚物やケージの処理に大きな便宜と安全性をもたらします。
The CT cage is a cage molded from a special amorphous polyester sheet. It is a sterilized disposable mouse cage that completely frees researchers from the cumbersome cleaning and sterilization tasks associated with the breeding of conventional laboratory mice. This not only makes it easier to conduct animal experiments in a microbially clean environment than before, but also provides significant convenience and safety in the handling of waste and cages associated with experiments involving carcinogens, isotopes, or infections.
特長
ＣＴケージに使用されている特殊ポリエステルは、表面硬度が高く、マウスの歯や爪に対しても
充分な強度を持っています。
また、材質強度も高いので、ケージを薄くすることができ、スタッキングしてもかさばりません。
各種特性は次の通りです。
The special polyester used in the CT cage has high surface hardness and sufficient strength against mouse teeth and claws. Furthermore, due to its high material strength, the cage can be made thinner, making it easy to stack without taking up much space. The various properties are as follows.
廃棄性
CTケージは、特殊ポリエステル製のため燃焼カロリーが低く、燃焼時に有害なガスの発生がないので、床敷きを入れたまま焼却が出来ます。
CT cages are made of special polyester, so they burn low calories and do not emit harmful gases when burned, so they can be incinerated with the bedding inside.
衛生性
ＣＴケージに使用されている特殊ポリエステルは、耐放射線及び電子線素材です。完全密封系での滅菌のため、微生物汚染の心配がありません。
The special polyester used in the CT cage is radiation resistant and electron beam resistant. Because it is sterilized in a completely sealed system, there is no need to worry about microbial contamination.
透明性
ＣＴケージに使用されている特殊ポリエステルは透明なので、棚に入れたまま動物の観察が出来ます。
The special polyester used in CT cages is transparent, so animals can be observed while placed in the shelf.
消毒液耐性
アルコール系*1、ヨード系*2、逆性石鹸系*3、グルコン酸クロルヘキシジン系*4消毒液には安定ですが、塩素系*5の滅菌剤及び、強酸、強アルカリ*6での滅菌は避けてください。
また、ＣＴケージに使用されている特殊ポリエステルは、耐熱性がないので、オートクレーブ滅菌や、60℃以上でのガス滅菌は避けてください。
Sterilization is stable with alcohol-based *1, iodine-based *2, antisoap-based *3, and chlorhexidine gluconate-based disinfectants, but please avoid sterilization with chlorine-based *5 sterilizers, strong acids, and strong alkalis*6.
Additionally, the special polyester used in the CT cage is not heat resistant, so avoid autoclave sterilization or gas sterilization at temperatures above 60°C.

*5 次亜塩素酸塩など
*6 60％塩酸、10％ソーダまでなら使用できます。

*2 “Povidone-iodine” (Meiji Seika), “Popyodon” (Yoshida Pharmaceutical), etc.
*3 Benzalkonium chloride preparations such as “Osban Liquid” (Nippon Pharmaceutical) and “Microcut” (Ecolab)
*4 “Hibiten” gluconate preparation (ICI)
*5 Hypochlorite, etc.
*6 Up to 60% hydrochloric acid and 10% soda can be used.
