ケージ本体及びフタに使用されている特殊ポリエステルは、表面硬度が高く、マウスの歯や爪に対しても充分な強度を持っています。また、材質強度も高いので、ケージを薄くすることができ、スタッキングしてもかさばりません。各種特性は次の通りです。

特性
『特殊ポリエステル製のため燃焼カロリーが低く燃焼時に有害なガスの発生がないので、床敷きを入れたまま焼却が出来ます。
使用されている特殊ポリエステルは、耐放射、電子線素材です。
完全密封系での滅菌のため、微生物汚染の心配がありません。
使用されている特殊ポリエステルは透明なので、棚に入れたまま動物の観察が出来ます。
アルコール系*1、ヨード系*2、逆性石鹸系*3、グルコン酸クロルヘキシジン系*4消毒液には安定ですが、塩素系*5の滅菌剤及び、強酸、強アルカリ*6での滅菌は避けてください。
使用されている特殊ポリエステルは、耐熱性がないので、オートクレーブ滅菌や、60℃以上でのガス滅菌は避けてください』
Characteristics

The special polyester used is resistant to radiation and electron beams. There is no concern about microbial contamination due to complete sealing for sterilization. The special polyester used is transparent, enabling observation of animals while they are still housed on the shelf. It is stable with alcohol-based disinfectants, iodine-based disinfectants, quaternary ammonium compounds, and gluconic acid chlorhexidine disinfectants, but please avoid sterilization with chlorine-based sterilizers and strong acids or strong alkalis. The special polyester used is not heat resistant, so please avoid autoclave sterilization or gas sterilization at temperatures above 60°C."
